Introducing the wip of a new species
_{May not be the most original but hey what can be called original now a days}


Species name: Petimimi
(petite and Kemonomimi )

They are miniture humaniod dolls which are not quite machine or organic. Created from a mix of science and magic. They have machine ears and tail that resemble animal like ears. They have the ability to grow and learn

BACKSTORY:
Creator of them originally wanted something to give to his sick child Something that could grow, learn and keep the child company as the child couldn't have friends or risk venturing outside. It wasn't possible to make a life size being so he created a miniture being. He wanted it to not only be able to keep the child company but also for it to be useful also. Created through mixture of magic and science the first was finally completed. Unfortunately a little to late. He ended up keeping the one he originally created. Eventually he created more for a small few friends who were interested in them, from there it slowly grew till he was making more and more.  4

INFO:
They start of at around 3cm and can grow up to roughly 15 cms tall and can easily sit on palm, on shoulder or in pockets. There have been rare occassion where they have grown slightly larger.
Their apperances can vary some can look more child like while other may look more adult like when fully grown
When first activated they can not speak and have very little function. They must be given attention and love to grow, develop and to be come fully funtional. The more love and attention quicker they will speak and become fully functional
Personality develop as they grow, each different. Some owners may choose to install a preset instead of letting them develop or install one if they dislike the current one, though not advised.
Having two of them can either be a good or bad thing. Some may enjoy the company of another Petimimi but others will fight and get jealous if they are living in the same household.
They are more likely to get along with other petimimi from other household since they don't need to compete over owner's affections. Though this often comes down to the individuals personality
They can get along well with animals and other creatures.
Originally created as genderless as demand grew some were given specific gender traits.
They have the ability to feel physical sensation, and can tell a gentle touch from a rough one. But won't feel pain like humans or others do.
They can't feel pain physically but mentally yes. They don't take well to emotional pain most of them
Injuries to skin will heal fast, but major injuries can destroy functioning parts permanently.
They can fall in love and feel hate.
Being partially made with magic, they have function similar to humans, able to taste, smell and sence if touch. 
hAve to ability to taste, but they don't really haveto eat
Uncommon types(those with gender) can mate/have physical relationships with another but can not reproduce since there are not truely living.



Traits + ability:
-Human like skin (possible to be tattooed )
- Ears and tail float seperate from body
   > rabbit , canine or feline type. Though can have other types
- serial number at base of neck or thigh
- Ears + tail appear metal like or plastic, but felixible
- In-built body regulator. Warm in winter, cool in summer
- halographic ring around ear. Change colour when in sleep mode, uploading/downloading data or needing rest
- Bluetooth and wireless reciever built into tail or ears.
- Completely waterproof. Many will enjoy baths or swimming
- Hair can grow, and occassionally need to be cut
- They will turn into a miniture form of whatever animal they based on when in sleep mode.
- Some data and music can be uploaded to them. They will sing or store data.
- Ears and tail can emit a faint glow, like night light. The ones with black ears/tails won't glow, unless modified with glowing paint or not fully black
